I have been working around the IT (Information Technology) business for 12 years and have seen a lot of changes in the industry. Some were good, some were bad, some were exceptional but people/end users were not ready for them.

Here is an example of a few of those “exceptional” concepts that finally became a reality and are widely used today:  Saas, Server / Desktop Virtualization, Cloud Computing, Web 2.0 etc.

There are many websites and blogs that will talk about SaaS (Software as a Service) and tell you what the meaning of these 4 letters is, but in IT there is a lot more than that just abbreviations and “fancy” software/service names.

SaaS or Cloud Computing are no longer concepts of the future. It is currently available and we deal with it on a day to day bases. Some of you may not be aware that you are using SaaS, and we want to change that and make you aware of the technology that we use today, we’ll use tomorrow and in the near future.

You may be asking yourself why am I mixing Virtualization with Cloud computing and SaaS…Right? Well…the truth is that in one way, more or less these technologies interconnect and are somewhat dependent on each other.

I will try to provide you with the latest news, trends, and my personal experience or views related to SaaS (Software as a Service). Feel free to leave comments, correct me or email me!
