Fujitsu Launches Ten New Enterprise-Model Computers, Including a Tablet, Thin Clients and Others
Tokyo, May 14, 2014 — Fujitsu today announced the release of 10 new enterprise models from nine series, including thin clients and one zero client, as well as a tablet, desktop PCs and workstations that come installed with the latest Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. All models are being released in Japan starting today(1).
In its FUJITSU Tablet ARROWS Tab line of tablets, Fujitsu is releasing a new model, the ARROWS Tab Q704/PV, which won an outstanding product award in the MCPC award 2014 program(2). Equipped with a compact palm vein authentication sensor, and available with CLEARSURE 3G/LTE(3) remote data-deletion solution(4), this tablet combines robust security with maximum mobility.
Fujitsu has also updated its FUJITSU Zero and Thin Client FUTRO line. The FUTRO L420 is Fujitsu’s first desktop “zero client,” that has no CPU, storage, or operating system, is being sold within Japan for the first time, and the desktop thin client FUTRO S720 and laptop thin clients FUTRO ME734 and FUTRO MA574 are also newly available. With Fujitsu’s virtualization solutions and complete line-up of zero and thin client terminals, businesses can bring the benefits of more secure work environments to a variety of operations.
The FUJITSU PC ESPRIMO line of desktop PCs feature a new ultra-small form factor, while the FUJITSU Workstation CELSIUS line of workstations has been updated with the latest CPUs.
